Fines are payable by personal check, money order, credit card (Visa or Master Card) in person or by phone, cashier’s check, or online at www.njdirect.com

Court Sessions:

Court sessions are by appointment only. Contact the court office to be scheduled. If an interpreter is required, please contact the court office prior to your hearing. Adjournments are given in medical emergencies only, and proof from a doctor is required.

Payment Of Fines:

If a case does not mandate a court appearance, fines may be paid any time prior to the court date shown on the summons. Fines may be paid in person to the Court Violations Clerk, Dawn Ort, on Monday and Wednesday 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm at the Lopatcong Township Municipal Building.

Court Schedule:

Court for Lopatcong is held at 6:00 PM on the first Tuesday and third Tuesday of each month. Upon arrival, please check in with the court administrator. For the safety and security of the public and court officials, all individuals and articles entering the courtroom will be searched.
